The Estimator will be preparing accurate cost estimates for glazing projects by analysing specifications and drawings, soliciting quotes, and developing pricing information. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for glazing projects.
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
- Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs and pricing information.
- Present cost estimates to clients and provide clarification as needed.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with clients.
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with estimates.
