Our client are a Dorset based architectural glazing company specialising in bespoke glass design, manufacture and installation for high end residential projects.
Role:
- Undertake site surveys
- Meet with architects, clients and contractors and advise on design options
- Take accurate measurements and promptly process surveys
- Provide accurate and detailed information to relevant departments
- Review access for installation including lifting requirements
- Assist installation process including drafting RAMs and Method Statements Attributes
- Organised individual with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Polite and courteous attitude
- Problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach
- Approachable with ability to mentor fitters
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Attention to detail and strong desire for accuracy
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Must be punctual
- Surveying experience or minimum 5 years experience as a glazing installer or similar
- Good knowledge of the construction industry
- Good understanding of geometry
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Valid UK driver’s license
- Good level of computer literacy
- Ability to sketch freehand
- Visa to work in the UK
- Salary up to 50k per annum
