Technical Sales

Our client are a London based architectural glazing company specialising in bespoke glass design, manufacture and installation for high end residential projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and product information to customers over the phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements, recommend suitable glazing solutions, and address any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Manage and log customer enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping of all interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and support the development of sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, competitor offerings and Maxlight’s own services and values to effectively communicate Maxlight’s value proposition to customers.
  • Work closely with the technical and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations, proposals, and sales presentations as required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of performance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a customer-facing role within the construction, architectural, or glazing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational ability
