Our client is one of the leading and most respected suppliers and installers of Kawneer curtain walling, windows and doors. Throughout their expansion they have maintained the philosophy of hard work, honesty, flexibility and a determination to meet client’s needs.
Due to continued growth and a good pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, the QS will provide commercial expertise to the company in relation to the contractual management of projects both pre and post contract to ensure that projects are completed within the projected budget and commercial risks within the contract are highlighted and managed.
You will work closely with the estimating department to review all contract documentation in order to ensure the scope of works within the contract fully match the works priced at tender stage. Therefore, experience with both JCT and NEC forms of contract is essential.
You will ideally have experience working within the facades sector and have a relevant quantity surveying or commercial management qualification. Experience working with main contractors as a subcontractor dealing with numerous projects concurrently would also be advantageous.
